Jay Farrar is mostly known as founding member of, at first, Uncle Tupelo and then, together with the former member of Uncle Tupelo, Mike Heidorn, of Son Volt. Jay Farrar has also a solo career that started in 2001 with the album "Sebastopol" (2001).
