Born Jeffrey Scott Buckley, he was the son of American singer/musician Tim Buckley. He released a solo studio album in 1994, "Grace", which was a great success all over the world and gained Jeff wide recognition and sensation within the whole music scene. After touring the world for the following 2 years, Jeff died tragically at 30 swimming in Wolf River Harbor, a slackwater channel of the Mississippi River.
