This incredible debut album featuring, in addition to several gems, one of the my favourite Hendrix songs, personally I think 'Third Stone from the Sun' is one of the greatest compositions ever written. It has a fantastic and hypnotic bass line, and a simply amazing melody. 'Third Stone from the Sun' is played still today by a large number of artists in jazz music scene just for its music structure which gives space to free improvisations. I remember jazz and fusion gigs, where this song has been re-arranged and played for more than fifteen minutes, and the result has been always fantastic, with a great apreciament by the public (including mine). great album and great song (s).
