James Joseph Chamberlin is famous as a founding member and the drummer of Smashing Pumpkins until 1996 when he was removed from the band due to drugs problem. Chamberlin joined again the Pumpkins in 1999 but the group disbanded one year later. The Smashing Pumpkins met again in 2005 and Chamberlin joined them but he left the band in 2009.
