Joe Satriani at the age of 14 began playing the instrument that will make him famous: the guitar. In 1971 he began to give guitar lessons and among his students there are now talents like Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett of Metallica, David Bryson of Counting Crows, Larry Lalonde of Primus and Alex Skolnick of Testament.
