John Evan (born John Spencer Evans) is best known as keyboardist of Jethro Tull. He was a member of Jethro Tull from 1970 to 1980 and worked on ten albums including the anthology album Living in the Past and the live album Bursting Out. In 1980 Evan left the Jethro Tull to found with David Palmer a band called "the Tallis".
