John Giblin is manly known as member and bass player of Simple Minds from 1985 to 1989. Giblin left the band after the album "Street Fighting Years" and he began to collaborate as session bassist with artists such as Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Phil Collins, Alan Parsons, Fish, Annie Lennox and many others.
