John Stanley Marshall is best known at first as a founding member of the jazz rock band "Nucleus", and then as a member of the "Soft Machine from 1972 until the disbanded of the group. John Marshall, since early 2000s, is also promoter of musical projects together with some former members of Soft Machine, this "reunions" are under the name of "SoftWhere", "SoftWorks" and "Soft Machine Legacy".
