John Paul Jones (born John Baldwin) was a member and the bassist of the Led Zeppelin. After they disbanded (1980) he began a solo career collaborating also with artists and bands such as R.E.M., The Mission, Ben E. King, Brian Eno and Foo Fighters. In 2009 the debut album of "Them Crooked Vultures", supergroup with Jones on bass, Joshua Homme on guitar and vocals and Dave Grohl on drums was released.
