Jules Mark Shear is an American musician and songwriter, born in Pittsburgh in 1952.
He has been a part of the groups 'The Funky Kings', 'Jules and the Polar Bears', 'The Reckless Sleepers' and 'Raisins in the Sun'.
Shear has written songs also for other artists, such as, Cyndi Lauper, The Bangles and Iain Matthews, among others.
