Profile:
Killing Joke formed in October 1978 in Notting Hill, London. Born "en pleine" Post Punk era, they evolved and were seminal to genres like Industrial, Hardcore, Goth and Alternative Rock: the huge variety of rock bands that recognize them as a big influence on their music, and the many genres they can be associated with, witness Killing Joke importance for the entire extreme music scene, despite their modest commercial success.
