Colorless, except for the first side-b's three tracks which deserve three stars.

Every time I listen Lizard, I don't understand if I like it or not...I think not. I think this work is sometime overrated. Release - Label:Eg Records; Year:1987; Code:EGCD 4

Sorry, but I disagree with those who say that Lizard is a masterpiece. In my opinion only the title track is interesting, all the A side of the old vinyl is just reasonable. Songs like Cirkus, Indoor Games, Happy Family and Lady Of The Dancing Water do not match of most of their first production. Release - Label:Island Records; Year:1970; Code:ILPS 9141

Lizard isn't among Crimson's albums I prefer. It's a fine album with fusion influences, but far from the atmospheres of "In the Court of the Crimson King". Side A runs without any special emotion, and only the b-side with the long suite "Lizard", gives some interesting moments. Release - Label:Eg Records; Year:1987; Code:EGCD 4 |
