Starless And Bible Black: The only songs of Starless and Bible Black entirely recorded in studio (in January 1974 at AIR Studios, London) are the first two tracks: A1 "The Great Deceiver" and A2 "Lament". The others were recorded live in concert, with applause edited out. Track A3 "We'll Let You Know" was an improvisational piece recorded in Glasgow; Track A4 "The Night Watch" was recorded at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; Track A5 "Trio" was recorded at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam; Track A6 "The Mincer" was recorded in Zürich and overdubbed with Wetton's vocals in studio. Tracks B1, "Starless and Bible Black" and B2 "Fracture" were recorded at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam.
