Kirk Covington is a drummer probably best known for his work with jazz fusion band Tribal Tech. Convington, along with Scott Henderson and bassist John Humphrey, toured as a Trio between 1998 and 2006, and in 2008, he founded his own trio, 'CPT KIRK', along with bass player Rufus Philpot and keyboardist Scott Tibbs. Covington has also collaborated with many artists, such as, Allan Holdsworth, Joe Zawinul and Robben Ford, to name a few.
