Leon "Ndugu" Chancler is a musician, composer and producer. Chancler has performed and collaborated with musicians such as, Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Bobby Hutcherson, the Gerald Wilson Big Band, Carlos Santana, George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Thelonious Monk, Jean-Luc Ponty, The Crusaders, Donna Summer, Weather Report, Frank Sinatra, John Lee Hooker, Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie, among many others. Chancler often plays as a studio drummer. His work can be heard on many records, ranging from jazz to blues to pop (including Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean").
