Les Claypool (born Leslie Edward Claypool) is mainly known as founding member, lead singer and bassist of Primus since 1984, when the band was known under the name of "Primate". Claypool has a his own label called Claypool's Prawn Song Records, a parody of Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label. parallel his work with Primus, Claypool has pursued his own musical projects and several collaborations with other musicians, such as, Gov't Mule, Tom Waits and Adrian Belew.
