Litfiba is an italian rock band that in the 80s has created a mix of new wave and mediterranen rock that combined the charm of ethnic sounds with the edginess of dark atmospheres. Since the 90's the music of Litfiba is much closer to rock and pop rock sounds. The founding member of the band is Federico Renzulli (guitar) with Gianni Maroccolo (bass), Antonio Aiazzi (keyboards), Francesco Calamai (drums) and Piero Pelù (vocals). In 1999 the historical frontman and lead singer Piero Pelù left the band and was replaced by Gianluigi Cavallo and then by Filippo Margheri. At the end of 2009 Piero Pelù, after 10 years of "solo" career and some fair success, decided together with old mate "Ghigo" Renzulli to re-join the band. A sold out re-union tour throughout Italy and some European venues has begun in March 2010.
