Luciano Pavarotti is one of the most famous Opera tenor of all time. He began his professional career as a tenor in 1961 in Italy; he was already worlwide acclaimed and appreciated by Opera followers and critics, when he opened (he was the first for his genre) to popular music. He became an idol also for young rock and pop fans and the happenings he organized every year for charity in the 1990s and 2000s ("Pavarotti & Friends) together with the best rock and pop artists, were known and broadcasted all over the world and attended by thousands of fans. He was friend with many famous rockstars and celebrities such as Lady Diana. He was also a member of "The Three Tenors", unforgettable project together with Placido Domingo and José Carreras. He will be forever remembered for his humanitarianism and for his immortal interpretations of Giacomo Puccini's "Nessun Dorma", the most awaited piece at his innumerable stage performances.
