Lyle Mays is probably best known as a member of the Pat Metheny Group since its foundation, in 1977.
Mays, together with Metheny, has composed and arranged almost all the band's songs.
Mays has collaborated with several musicians, and he has also a solo career started in 1986
with the album "Lyle Mays".
