Mark Richard Mancina is primarly a composer of film soundtracks. He composed the score for the actions film Speed (1994) and Bad Boys (1995), thrillers Twister (1996) and Criminal Minds (2005), among others. Mancina has also often worked in a progressive rock projects, he collaborated with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, toured with Trevor Rabin and he produced some tracks of the Yes album Union.
