Martin Mendez is best known as member and bass player of Opeth since 1997. Before, Mendez has played with others band such as Vinterkrig, Fifth to Infinity and Proxima. Mendez with his friend Martin Lopez (ex Opeth's drummer) has played in Uruguay in a band called "Requiem Aeternam".
