Born Matthew William Sorum, he is an American hard rock drummer. Sorum is most famous as a member of Guns N' Roses (1990-1997) and Velvet Revolver (2002-2008). In 2009 he has been a touring member for Motörhead. He had many collaborations throughout his career and in 2011 he formed a pop rock band called Diamond Baby together with his long time girlfriend Ace Harper (vocals); for this band Matt also changed his stage name into "Baron Von Storm".
