Meade Lux Lewis was a musician and composer. His most famous song is "Honky Tonk Train Blues", which has been recorded in various contexts and by several artists, such as, amongst others, theater organist George Wright, Frankie Trumbauer, Adrian Rollini, classical harpsichordist Sylvia Marlowe, Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Bob Zurke with Bob Crosby's orchestra.
