Album Card
Death Magnetic: Death Magnetic is Metallica ninth studio album. It is the first album recorded with new and current bassist Robert Trujillo and the first to be produced by Rick Rubin and to be released through Warner Bros. Records. Death Magnetic is unanimously considered a return to the typical Metallica thrash sound of the late eighties and first nineties. It also hosts a long Instrumental, "Suicide & Redemption", as they were used to do in those years. At the moment of writing (2010) the band is still touring around the world in support of this album, the World Magnetic Tour becoming one of the longest in the band's history. It officially kicked off in October 2008 (but the band performed some dates in the summer of 2008 too) and dates are currently planned until November 2010.
