This is probably the best Metallica album, I love Burton's bass on this record! all tracks are brilliant, but Master of Puppets along with Orion are a timeless master peices, two of the best rock songs I've ever heard. Release - Label:Elektra Records; Year:1986; Code:60439-1

Album Card
Master Of Puppets: Master of Puppets is still widely considered Metallica masterpiece. From time to time some media propose its own charts of music history, and, be sure, when it's turn of the Heavy Metal chart, Master of Puppets is among the first five records of all time, more often among the first three, often the first one. It is the last album with Cliff Burton at the bass before his tragic death some months later. Recorded at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark (due to Lars Ulrich origins), this album summarizes as no other what Metallica had been since then (Battery, Damage Inc., Leper Messiah) and what they were supposed to become (Orion, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), The Thing That Should Not Be, Disposable Heroes). In the middle: Master of Puppets, one of the best, praised, sung (and awaited at gigs) Heavy Metal songs of all time.
