Reload, Metallica Reload: Originally all songs contained in ReLoad were supposed to be part of the previous Load. Then Metallica decided not to record so many songs at one time, and what could have been the second album in Load wre released one year and a half later in November 1997. For the first time some additional personnel were hosted in a Metallica album. Marianne Faithfull as additional vocals on "The Memory Remains", sessionmen Jim McGillveray (percussion) and David Miles (hurdy gurdy) on "Low Man's Lyric", assistant engineer Bernardo Bigalli (violin) on "Low Man's Lyric".
