S & M

S & M, Metallica S & M: S&M stands for 'Symphony and Metallica'. This double CD live album was recorded on 21-22 April, 1999 at Berkeley Community Theatre, with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen, who already collaborated with Metallica for the arrangements in the song "Nothing Else Matters" in 1991. This is the last Metallica album in which appears bassist Jason Newsted.
