Michael Sembello is a musician, arranger and film soundtracks composer.
He has worked and collaborated with many artists, such as, Stevie Wonder (between 1974 and 1979), Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Stanley Clarke, David Sanborn, The Temptations, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross and George Benson.
His first solo album is titled "Bossa Nova Hotel" and was published in 1983. The song "Maniac" was selected for inclusion in the movie Flashdance.
Sembello has also worked on several film soundtracks, including Summer Lovers, Cocoon, Independence Day, Gremlins and The Monster Squad.
