Profile:

Misfits are an American punk band often recognized as the creators of Horror Punk, they imported in the punk rock scene horror movies imagery. Founded in 1977 by singer and songwriter Glenn Danzig, the group had a fluctuating lineup during its first six years with Danzig and bassist Jerry Only as the two consistent members. After releasing their most known songs in this period, Misfits split in 1983, as Glenn Danzig went on with his new projects Samhain and Danzig. After legal battles with Danzig, Only regained the rights to record and perform as Misfits. The band went on playing and recording during the 90's and they faced the new millenium also with Marky Ramone at the drums for some time. Current lineup of Only and Cadena (drummers frequently change) still continues to tour around the world.
