Neal Morse, together with his brother Alan, is the founder of Spock's Beard. In addition to his work with Spock's Beard, Morse has an extensive solo career began in 1999 with the album "Neal Morse". In 2000, Neal joined Mike Portnoy, Dream Theater's drummer, to form the "Transatlantic". In the same year, he appeared in "The Dream Sequencer" 'from the album "The Universal Migrator" by Ayreon. In 2002 (after having published the double album "Snow" with Spock's Beard), Neal left both the bands, and gives a religious direction to his career, that will affect deeply his later works. This new direction, starts and it's described on the album "Testimony (2003).
