Neil Stanley Aspinall was a childhood friend of Paul McCartney and George Harrison. He was the road manager and personal assistant of the Beatles. After Mal Evans started work for them, he was promoted, becoming a music industry executive on to head of The Beatles' company Apple Corps. As a musician, Aspinall can be heard on some Beatles albums.
