Born Otis Ray Redding, Jr., he was an American soul singer, often referred as the "King of Soul". He died in a plane crash when he was 26, one month before the release of his biggest hit, a song that we all know, and heard at least once in a lifetime: "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay".
