Pat Sansone is mostly known as member of Wilco and of The Autumn Defense. Sansone joined Wilco in 2004 and replaced the multi-instrumentalist Leroy Bach. Sansone founded The Autumn Defense in 1999 together his with friend John Stirratt of Wilco. Sansone is also a producer and a studio musician and has contributed to many albums of several artists, among others, Ryan Adams, Andrew Bird, The Clientele, Swan Dive, Josh Rouse and Jenifer Jackson.
