In 2005, a life-size bronze statue of Phil Lynott was unveiled on Harry Street, off Grafton Street, Dublin. The ceremony was attended by former band members Eric Bell,
Gary Moore, Brian Robertson, Brian Downey, and Scott Gorham, and by Lynott's mother.

Born Philip Parris Lynott, this Irish singer, bassist, songwriter and poet was the leader and frontman of Thin Lizzy. He released two solo albums and also formed the
band Grand Slam in the eighties.
Lynott was 36 when he died after years of drug and alcohol dependency.
