Pino Palladino is a Welsh bass player, well-known for his ability to play most genres music, including rock, jazz, soul and funk. He has played in several bands, both as a guest and as a member (mainly in John Mayer Trio and The RH Factor), and he was also Pete Townshend's and Roger Daltrey's first choice to fill the role left by John Entwistle as the bass player for The Who. Palladino has become one of the most apreciated bass session players, playing on a vary large number of recordings by many artists and groups, such as, Paul Young, Steve Lukather, Pete Townshend, Genesis, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Pino Daniele and David Gilmour, only to name a few.
