Profile:
|
Prince is a musician (multi-instrumentalis), songwriter, record producer, arranger and actor.
He has been known also under an unpronounceable symbol, which he used between 1993 and 2000.
He founded his own recording studio and label, writing, self-producing and playing most, or all,
of the instruments on his works.
Prince during his career has released thirty Top 40 singles and ten platinum albums.
In addition, he has been a "talent promoter" for the careers of Carmen Electra, Sheila E, Vanity 6, and The Time.
He has also written songs that became hits for other artists, such as, among others, Sinéad O'Connor, The Bangles and Chaka Khan.
