Radiohead disappear from the music scene and then they suddenly return! Masters in communication! They have paraphrased the title of one of their songs and they came back with 'The King of Limbs', proving once again their ability to get the most media attention at every their release. 'The king of limbs' is a work featuring eight songs with a sound that sometimes deviates much from the past, up to some extreme, 'The king of limbs' is perhaps the most difficult and minimal album recorded by Radiohead, already know it from listening to the first first track, the initial "Bloom". Surely it takes a lot of plays to best assimilate the album and understand its true value, it's indeed an experimental album, which blends very different trends and sounds. Until now, I'm not particularly impressed, at the moment I rate it 3.5... pending further plays. Release - Label:No Label; Year:2011; Code:None |
