Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band, one of the most original (and commercially succesful) groups in the alternative rock scene of the late 80s, 90s and 2000s. RHCP style consists of rock/hard rock with an emphasis on funk, but in their works many elements from other genres such as punk, psychedelia, rap, heavy metal all mingle together, contributing to define their music as... "undefinable". Their albums and tours have always been characterized by surprises but, despite this and the band's many line up changes thoughout its existence, Red Hot Chili Peppers still maintain their unmistakable and recognizable presence within the rock scene.
