Rob Thomas, born Robert Kelly Thomas, is a singer-songwriter and musician, he is the primary songwriter and singer of the rock band Matchbox Twenty. He has also worked as a soloist. Thomas won three Grammy Awards for his participation with Carlos Santana on song 'Smooth', from the album Supernatural (1999).
