Dirty Work: Dirty Work was recorded in Paris, France at many intervals in 1985, since Rolling Stones as a band were in a period of crisis (both personal and professional). Immediately after completing the recordings of the album, Ian Stewart, first time member and longtime collaborator for the band, died of heart attack in December 1985: for this reason the band decided to pay a tribute to him at the end of the album with 33 seconds of an uncredited "Key to the Highway", song written by Big Bill Broonzy and played by Ian Stewart on piano.
