It S Only Rock N Roll, Rolling Stones It S Only Rock N Roll: Recorded in Munich, Germany, at Musicland Studios, It's Only Rock 'n Roll is the 12th studio album by the Rolling Stones, released in 1974. It's their last recording with guitarist Mick Taylor, who would be replaced by Ronnie Wood (who already appears in this album). This album is the first (after the experiment on Their Satanic Majesties Request) to be produced not by a third person, but by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards under their pseudonym "The Glimmer Twins". The Blue Magic choir performs backing vocals on "If You Really Want to Be My Friend".

I agree with previous review. This album is average, but "I know... it's only rnr... but I like it" is maybe the iconic sentence of the entire rock music history.
