He's mainly a bass player, guitarist and producer. Firth has played bass with Public Image Ltd, and he also worked with reaggae band 'The Sharps' (his first own band), Toni Braxton, Pentangle, Elvis Costello, Melanie C., Morcheeba, Joan Armatrading and Steve Winwood to name a few.
