Profile:
|
The Small Faces were an English rock blues band, founded in 1965 by members Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, and Jimmy Winston. The band is remembered as one of the most acclaimed and influential mod groups of the 1960s and one of the biggest original influences for the Britpop movement of the 1990s. After the departure of Steve Mariott who formed Humble Pie together with famous guitarist Peter Frampton, in 1969 the Small Faces became the Faces with Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood to join the remaining Small Faces members. The band briefly re-united in the late seventies.
