Many rumors and many speculations were made when Neal Morse left Spock's Beard, this will probably affect the evaluation of this work, it's normal, partly because the previous output (V), is, to date, the most successful, more beautiful, more charming album made by this band. Snow is a great record, ambitious, perhaps too long, in any case it represents a great piece of progressive rock made in USA, but compared with 'V' is still, in my opinion, a step backwards.
