Steve Gadd (born Stephen Victor Gadd) is mainly a session and studio drummer, famous for his sophistication and the remarkable technical capacity, and for his work with popular musicians from a wide range of genres. Gadd has worked with artists and bands such as, Chick Corea, Steely Dan, Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Al Jarreau, The Manhattan Transfer, Michel Petrucciani, Eddie Gomez, Pino Daniele, Steps Ahead, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Joe Cocker, Tony Levin, Mike Holmes, Al Di Meola and many others.
