Stephen James "Steve" Howe is mainly known as a member of Yes,
where he is also author or coauthor of many of their most famous songs.
In Yes, Howe replaced Peter Banks and he brought a real revolution in the band. The first Yes album with Howe on guitar, "The Yes Album" (1971), the third Yes album,
immediately anointed the band in Olympus of progressive rock. Howe is also among the founders of the "supergroup" Asia and he has also an 'extensive solo discography, many collaborations as a guest star in works of other artists, such as, the Queen, Lou Reed
and many others. Steve Howe is a virtuoso of the instrument and has received awards for his contribution to the evolution
technique of modern guitar.
