Steve Morse (born Steven J. Morse) is best known as founder of the Dixie dregs and as member of Deep Purple since 1994. During his career he played Rock, Country, Funk, Jazz, Classical and fusion. In addition to a thriving solo career, is notable his collaboration with the Kansas in the middle of '80s.
