Steve Reid was a musician who collaborated with several artists, such as, Mils Davis, Sun Ra and Fela Kuti, among others. Reid worked also as a session man for Motown and he had a career as a leader, publishing his first own album, entitled Raw, in 1975 (as Steve Reid and the Legendary Master Brotherhood). Between 2006 and 2008, Ried played along with Kieran Hebden, an English post-rock and electronic musician.
