Steve Winwood (born Stephen Lawrence Winwood) is a singer (he sings with a tenor voice) and a multi-instrumentalist. Winwood was a member of the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith, and Go. He founded Traffic in 1967, along with Chris Wood, Jim Capaldi and Dave Mason, and Blind Faith in 1969 with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech. Winwood's solo career, has started in 1977 with the album "Steve Winwood". In 1994, Capaldi and Winwood reunited Traffic for a new album titled "Far From Home".
