All Proud, All Live, All Mighty

All Proud, All Live, All Mighty, The Almighty All Proud, All Live, All Mighty: This double CD is the latest live release of The Almighty. A live album that covers almost all of their career. Recorded at Astoria 2, London, on February 1st 2008, during their 20th anniversary reunion tour, it is a sort of testament for the band and curiously for the venue too (Astoria 2 one of the most famous and historical venues in London would have been demolished to make way for a new train line). But the beauty, passion and fury of this live performance leaves in every fan the hope that the story for The Almighty has not yet come to an end.

I miss this band, I saw them live many times and it was surely their preferred dimension. The Almighty on stage always gave their best, as opposed to some studio albums (those after the masterpiece Crank) that in my opinion were not so great. This live album finally testifies their performances and contains their best material. I hope that someday they'll be back together, but at the moment Ricky has definetly something important to do, as frontman of the great Thin Lizzy. Good luck!
